Double Vision

I know a lot of people have mixed opinions about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Style, and some people just flat out hate it. Lately though, I've noticed that I've become really fond of it. The way they mix pieces and styles is actually quite brilliant when you think about it. They know the key to layering and the what's right amount of grunge to incorporate into an outfit. They know exactly how to style vintage with high fashion and make it look completely cohesive. I'm honestly not sure if anyone else could pull off this style as well as they can. It would look simply atrocious on someone of the norm. These girls make the hobo style look absolutely glamorous AND easy. But in reality, this style is anything but easy...I've tried to mimic it numerous times only to come out looking like I tried to wear the entire contents of my closet, its quite horrific. These two are definitely getting added to my list of inspiration.

Procrastination may as well be my middle name.

I must admit I'm known for jumping on band-wagons and starting things without ever finishing them. Take my many unfinished sewing projects for example. Needless to say this behavior must stop. I've written for this blog a few times only to see the posts peter out, right along with my imagination for things to write about. My neglect and procrastination towards this blog needs to do a complete 180. I vow to try to do a post at least twice weekly, and even more often when I have spare time or just have a sudden burst of imagination. What you can be prepared to see throughout this blog is Fashion, Food, Music, Politics, Art, and just about anything else that comes to mind.
