Happy New Year! I've never really done anything special for New Years, I've went to a few New Years Eve parties in the past but they were nothing special. So it was really no surprise that I was in bed by 9:30 last night, although I did get woken up by fireworks going off behind my house. It doesn't really feel like the start of a new year today, in fact both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year felt like a joke. I guess it's the weather, it's hard to adapt to the holiday season when it's 80 degrees and sunny outside. I just can't wrap my head around it. In other news...I start work on sunday at Abercrombie & Fitch, I'm pretty excited about it. It'll be my first job that won't involve working with family members. On the 11th I start school again, not sure I'm ready to give up this break and start sitting in class again. It's not like I have a choice though.
