Raquel Allegra

I first saw Raquel Allegra's Line last February at one of the shows during LA Fashion Week. I was awestruck as the models walked down the runway draped in pure shredded perfection. The time and detail put into these items was impossible to overlook. It looked like the material could disintegrate at the slightest touch, yet still durable for everyday wear. Light enough to wear on warm days, and thin enough to layer. These shredded masterpieces reminded me of cocoons; butterfly cocoons. They were paired with masculine shoes; often Oxfords, which I think really helped, launch the trend throughout this season. Allegra should definitely be on your fashion radar.

In other news, I have finals all next week, so the posts will be a little slow. Last day of school is the 11th, so the posts will speed up after that.
